BTC were the first BBoy/breakdance cru to be awarded a commission for the prestigious Place Prize 2010, by the Place (London), for which they created Aftermath, a deeply personal show based upon our experiences of growing up in Omagh.

The piece follows four characters struggling to exist in an area of conflict and the effects terrorist acts can have upon these individuals.

Focussing upon the Omagh Bomb in August 1998, this gripping, evocative, yet inspiring piece combines the distinctive blend of BBoying, contemporary and partner work that has come to be indicative of BTC’s theatre shows. A compelling performance with beautifully tight choreography, on the cutting edge of Hip Hop Dance Theatre.
