Just Jam International: 25th and 26th Oct 2010

JJ 2010 sold out both days proving that it is hear to stay. The events took place in Dance City which is a national dance agency located in the city, and is the building where the jam (which has since taken place in a number of locations around Newcastle and the surrounding area) began.

Dance City is Just Jam’s spiritual home. They have supported the event since day one, and provide a beautiful set-up for the battles. If you want to see real b-boying, a real display of individual skills and brilliant music then this is the jam. It’s also a real family venue and open to all.

No matter where you are from or who you are, Just Jam welcomes all.” For people in the UK with even the slightest interest in the culture, the jam is definitely an event to attend. Expect to see “Amazing battles, top level b-boying, good music, friendly vibe and a professionally organised  b-boy event which is open for all. Top names from all over the country, as well as European b-boys like Blanka (of Floor Gangz), Monir (of Vagabonds, France), Intact (of Ruff Neck Attack, Ukraine) and a few other guests.

For the b-boys, it’s the chance to represent yourself, your crew and test your skills against the best in the UK and Europe. It is also the chance to win a top cash prize of £500, as well as goodies from the event sponsors! For the crowd, an awesome display of real b-boy culture; thrills, spills and dynamic skills!”
